Getting Set

We're checking snow shovels
It's gettin' cold
An' frost will soon appear-
An' the weatherman
Has the gall to say,
"Snow... snow...
An' snow... this year!"

We're checkin' snow shovels
For A1 shape, to throw snow
Over the neighbor's fence-
Kids love to jump in piles
It's theirs, at no expense

It's wise to check snow shovels
Make sure the neighbors
Ain't swiped them all...
An' Lord, don't make the snow
Too high to walk through-
Old cusses like me might fall

This ne makes me smile, Helen. I happen to love snow and still shovel it by hand when necessary but this year my wife and I will be in Florida and The Bahamas watching Canada deal with a snowy winter!
