General Yi-Sun-Sin

Great General Yi-Sun-Sin
Watched the battle begin
After losing every turtle ship
He saw the Japanese fleet
Begin to flounder at his feet
Dragon sword firm in his grip

Outnumbered twenty to one
And yet the battle was won
So the Korean history tells
But still the anger grows
And resentment overflows
From modern poisoned wells

When all people can put to rest
Stories of war they should detest
The world will become much safer
For the past has been and gone
There will not be another such one
Time now to embrace our neighbor
