Old Escher’s Staircase

Time was on the bus
He managed to get a seat
Place was standing next to him
Broiling in the heat
“Stand for your elder”
He said so terse in speech
“You know where to get off” said Time
“But my stop keeps moving from reach”
“Do you want that seat for eternity?”
Questioned the arrogant Place
“No, Eternity decided to walk the way” he replied
“He is climbing old Escher’s staircase”

Ha ha ... This is fantastic!

I can imagine them bickering while space laughs in the background

Interesting personification. I like the poem.
