Daughter came one day, said write a poem about her Houdini dog that slipped
out of her collar when she shouldn't have. Yah??? Soooo...

Houdini Dog

Sasha slipped out of her collar
Left chain free to lay on porch;
Left Sasha free to race around
yard, for frogs and such to search

The lady came out a-lookin'
For what has disappeared-
And wonders if dear dog, Sasha
Strange things do-do, she fears!

She calls name of loose critter
And Sasha comes a-runnin'
To her side- Looks up at her
as if to say, "My Lady, I would
never run away from you"
With her eyes open wide...

So nice. I would always call my son's shoes Houdinis because the laces always came undone.
