Our Thanks

Thanksgiving peeks
Around the corner
A day of relieving thanks
If you have family,
Friends, peace of mind,
And there's money
In the bank...

Turkey is always
A happy thought; The
fixin's, pies, and stuff
Thanksgiving, you
give true thanks-
if you have food enough

We're thankful if we
Have cars and such
And thankful when
Inspections pass- But
so many kinda cuss, When
eyeing the price of gas

We're thankful if we have jobs
That don't fade into the blue
We're thankful for a steady job
With no worry about
What our hands will do

We're thankful if we
Have warm homes
And hope, so do others
We're especially thankful
If we can keep our heads
Above politician waters

Bravo, Helen, indeed, comes time, when we look back, count those who matter, think of what matters, in our life, be yes happy, even grateful, for, haveing what matters, in our life, and smile, when we have all of that, still with us! Pestery, politicals, can wimal, on a p[ointed stiick, inserted whear the sun dont shine!

We have so much to be thankful for that we take it all for granted until one day a year when we stop to think about it, and most of us eat too much afterwards. :) Thanks for the reminder.
