Feathering Light

E evening was a feather of Light in her hair
In a summer so silent frieze of hypnotic leaves
Wound into clustering nautilus neural pearls
Ganglion rubies forming lip words like kisses
Silk rossettes on her wrists in sunsets on fire
Caught the heart haunted mists that fell everywhere
That was once in those eyes, disappear
Weightless was fallen lashes and lies
Red, violet flowers strange butterflies
In hovering moments covering night to be fair
E evening was a feather of Light in her hair.
