I could go on forever with this series but I'd like it to be a remembrance to us all, kind of a modern reminder of the things we should value, like the ten commandments.

This is the last and final sorrow.

WORLDS OF SORROWS X

Worlds of sorrows.
No tomorrows.
Mind hollows.
Identity follows.

Lost his dad
to an early grave.
Lost his mom
to the Tidal Wave.

Water of rage
buried them both.
Now he's alone
with his misery moan.

Tsunamis and earthquakes.
Headaches and heartbreaks.
Our ground is broken.
A frightening token.

Mind hollows.
Identity follows.
No tomorrows.
Worlds of sorrows.

I was happy coming here until this poem plunged me into worlds of sorrow.
I didn't get the meaning in the line "Identity follows"

A very apt title as these disasters affect all who have contact with them, and the outcome of such natural savagery is always of great distess where even prayer seems to do little to ease the pain in its aftermath.

Wow. this last ten is really a wow upon wow!
Sorry you are finishing the series!
Now you leave all of them on your page,
So that I can read them all in a go,
I know there are a few I missed a few in the beginning!

Reminders are all around us.
What we need is to act upon these.
Part of that action is for those who know to lift up their voices and make a solemn warning. As you have down with this remarkable expression. There is power both in word and in thought. Together - they transform the world. Cheers, Ricky

Oh, this one is truly the most powerful because it deals with Natural Disasters. Nothing can be done to alter these. We are at their mercy. Very vivid, horrific pictures flashed across my brain as I read this one. This is truly a part of the World of Sorrows. It is so good that you included this. I have enjoyed them all. I hope you don't mind if I copy them and save them for myself. It is a wonderful series.
