Today Was So Hot

Today was so hot
The weatherman ran out of numbers
An old lady in the street went mad
And starting putting on woolly jumpers
The taps squirted IOUs
Our shadows migrated to Antarctica
The grass went green then amber then red
Like traffic lights only more erratic-er
All the birds refused to fly
And ants burned their little feet
I donít know how I managed to rhyme
This poem in this heat

"Antarctica" and "erratic-er"! I like it!

Noice. But are you living in the southern hemisphere its December and here in Minnesota we're all freezing to death.

This one began as a smile and ended in a belly laugh for me! Thanks Dave. I needed that today.
