Tiny Teardrop People

All the tiny teardrop people
Live in a land of fallen sorrow
Where they spend their lives
Worrying about a tomorrow
And if the sky is powder blue
They dance around a whisker
Hoping to hold onto the hand
Of the cleverest Bronte sister
But if the sky rolls out to grey
They close up all the windows
Hiding under a dusty yesterday
But exactly why nobody knows
So if you ever hear an accordion
In the middle of the clearest night
Think of where your last tear fell
It dances inside the shadowy light

Whimsical, but a serious side too. Your artwork is delightful, doubly talented!

Bravo! There are those who shed tears
For those they know
They also shed tears they only know of
