Two Valentine Poems

1. FOR THE ONE WHO LOVES ME:

In the summer
I stretch out on the shore
And think of you.

And because my love
for you
Is so much bigger
Than words
Can express
I remain silent

Undress yourself
I am mute
And your body
Knows all languages

2. FOR THE ONE WHO LEFT ME

I wrote your name on the wind
I wrote your name on the water
But the wind is a bad listener
And the water does not remember names.

Ashe
***

Ooo I love them both. But the second one is so brilliantly contrived. You write well about love :)

Two unique valentines . The last recalls a saying. “all of life’s plans are written in the sand at low tide”

Brief, simple and Beautiful. Love poetry as it should be.
One poem of fulfillment one of lost love, a bitter sweet amalgalm.
