From Life’s Loom

Over the cracked streets of your memory
Through the dilapidated ruins of your mind
Around the disappointments of your past
Beyond things hoped that you’ll never find
That is where tomorrow sits patient in wait
For he knows how long you'll take to come
He has unraveled your yesterday and today
From life’s loom with ugly finger and thumb
