Bits of Life

I probably didó

observe one day

the fall of the sun

and caught the gold

scattered in the palm of the sea.

***

Silence

The ones who notice the storms in your eyes

The silence in your voice

And the heaviness in your heart

Are the ones you need to let in.

I cannot praise the first half highly enough! Wow! And the second half is an apt observation of profound poetic value: the keenness of the paradox "the silence in your voice." Brava, and might I say bravissima!

Beautiful choice of words. You turn them into magic and wisdom.

I love your economy of words in this. I agree completely with the theme and message.

Deeps
Very nice style of writing epiphanies in verse. And so beautifully done.
Yes, let them in.
