Browbeat

Today came to see me
He knocked upon my door
Told me to stop worrying
And the pacing of the floor

Tomorrow complained
Said he wasn’t being heard
Yesterday was all quiet
But remembered every word

I had to placate them
Just to keep them on side
It is hard having whingers
Around where you reside

I turn my music way up loud
Leave my bins out on the street
Only one thing bothers them
It takes worry to get browbeat

How very clever to use today and tomorrow to show the struggle in the soul. Beautiful poem!
