IN THE FIRE! (Addanal Line)

a cleaner died in the tower of social housing
the cleaner worked four jobs to make ends meet
cleaners two a penny
a postcard in the news agents window
cleaners apply - a dozen apply
cheapest - employed - no PAYE - paid
no NHS stamp paid ether
of the - now dead cleaner - buried in a paupers grave
not missed by the former - employer - completely
forgot to send any flowers - far to bissey - slipped the mind!
cleaners - are two a penny!

So true. An executive in the firm, even if disliked by most, would receive a grand ceremony and people would pretend to be sad.
Why do so many judge a person by the type of work they do and never bother to see everyone as a person? Good poem about human nature.
