My Most Holy Mother,
with Your holy and all-powerful pleading banished from me, Your lowly and miserable servant,
forgetfulness, foolishness, neglect
and all the cunning and blasphemous thoughts of my wretched heart and of my distressed mind;
and put out the flame of my passions, because I am poor and wretched.
And he saved me from the many bad memories and endeavors,
and free me from all evil deeds.
For you are blessed of all generations,
and thy precious name is glorified for ever and ever.
