For years now Iíve lived aboard various vessels.

How will I ever live without motion
My live exists within waterís thrall

Ever moving ever changing a primordial
essence that has birthed The world

Iíve felt her calm breasts rise and fall
under Tropic sun and cloudless days

Iíve cowered as her rage tossed waves
Sheared their tops in obsidian righteousness

Iíve prayed as horizontal sleet and spume
Has hammered my flimsy cockleshell

Iíve rested in rippled peace knowing
Innocently I was spared once more
