I Think No-one Understands Me

The metallic solar light outside
Thinks it is really a silver tree
As cloud lovers roll off the sun
I think no-one understands me

Pavements crack me up a lot
Fences opaque, donít you see
Thirsty birds are tap dancing
I think no-one understands me

Lizards are playing leap frog
Although so reptilian they be
The grass keeps harassing us
I think no-one understands me

Steps have just one place to go
The clothes line wants company
Weeds alone so far from home
I think no-one understands me

ďItís hot out here I want insideĒ
Said the fruit of the calamansi
He thinks he has big problems
I think no-one understands me

I now wait for our car to come
Engine sounds I know distinctly
I can hear it from so far away
But I donít think it can hear me

You see and feel more than anyone I know. You entertain us with your endless imagination, and whether I understand everything you write or not, I always enjoy it. And your amazing art too!

I love this " off the wall" poetry, great phrase " the clothes line wants company."
