Brown is Capability Brown; the photograph shows the front view of Croome :>)

Croome with a view

Arrayed in robes of scarlet, crimson, gold,
   autumnal trees flank left and right our view,
while skies above are clear and blue and bold,
   and grass below is paling green in hue;
Brown's lawns slope down to river, just a thread
   from here, and from its farther bank arise
      some tapestries of fields, of wheat perhaps
and oats, all ready to be harvested,
   and last the Malverns brush those Worcester skies,
      a range of giants clad in rocky caps.

To left again, an Early Gothic church,
   St Mary Magdalene's in honeyed stone,
provides a rather stately resting perch
   for blackbird and for thrush in motley tone;
and lefter still, the grand old court of Croome,
   with rear walls, windows, towers on display
      inspired by one Palladio's design,
reframes this quintessential English coomb
   as something Graeco-Roman-esque today,
      with ghosts of nymphs, fauns, satyrs, God of Wine.

You seem to have such an appreciation for what you see before you. Of course, what you see before you, in this case, is beautiful. Nonetheless, you convey what you see in a lovely way, and that is a choice. Thank you.

I don't have the background to determine whether you have hewed to an established form. I do love your rhyme scheme.
