Limericks from 2014.

Sitting in Arlington Center

I'm sitting in Arlington Center
Near a door that says Exit not Enter
Writing rhymes to please mateys
Whom I've known since the eighties
And to carol the advent of winter

I grew up in Boston not Brisbane
With forebears from Naples and Lisbon
And various Gaels
Drinking dark potent ales
Like Henry the Fifth on St Crispin

I'm list'nin' to Solid Gold Oldies
To ward off the shiverous coldies
Ensconced in a hut
Writing verse like a nut
But I fear that my rhythm's gone moldy
