Cozy Christmas Eve and MERRY CHRISTMAS! by Ann Wood

My friends, happily assembled,
passed through me through ice.
They listened to pain, bandaged wounds,
climbed slowly, without brod peaks.
And he drank, and sang, and suffered in secret.
They danced crazy until dawn.
They spoke. They argued in enchanting nights
with glittering, still alive eyes.
Walking with Faith in God and Nature.
Not giving their great hope.
Depending on Love to man and in trouble.
Sofia bent, bending over to us.
