80th Letter

One of those days

when the aging body

grudges to move

from the rumpled bed

and dozing sight

stares blearily

at sharp wires

of white light

slicing through shut

Venetian blinds

I get the "been there, done that" kind of feel of the poem. Can very much relate to one of those days!

Excellent, especially the last six lines.

This is entirely too close to home! The daily challenge to overcome internal and age agrivated inertia is never ending and progressive! Happy New Year, my friend!
