PESTERLY INSECTS!
Now I'm sure most if not allSay insects are pests
Especially on hot summers days
As your sat on rug enjoying - well trying!
A jam sandwich - ham and tomato sandwich
Maybe a boiled egg - sausage roll pork pie!
Flask of tea - bottle of pop!
Insects some crawling - others flying - dropping in
Uninvited - to share your picnic!
Now in a few hundred years - from now - ALL - those pesteraly insects
likely to be extinct!
Before you let go HIP HIP HOORAY!
THINK ON - WE - ALL LIFE ON EARTH - WILL BE EXTINCT!
BY THEN - OR SOON AFTER THE LAST INSECT SPECIES FINALLY
FINALLY IS EXTINCT!
THEN SO WILL WE!
