Hyperspace Love

Chat heads pop up, texting in the morning before waking up

Cute emojis, funny stickers, smooches and hugs, hooking up

Silent walk to the nearby hamlets, quiet places, lips locked,

Bodies curled, muffled moans, senseless fucking, in short, blowing up

When drunk-doing-it in alleyways, parking lots, restrooms, then

Drifting away into unknown, two falling leaves, heading up

Sulking and bitching, fighting online, turning on/off the chats,

Out of love, then second in love, two cheating hearts, breaking up

Bloodshot eyes, haggard faces, missing your ex, bodies aching,

Broken dreams, hopeful lives, forgetting/forgiving, growing up

Months pass, starting anew, now just friends, hi-hello, how d’ya do?

Causal friendship, coffee and rum, holding hands, now making up

The poet has depicted a metamorphosed love of global village. The speaker poem seems to be in a liminal zone and destined to act like Sisyphus in love's exhortations. I enjoyed your ghazal Bibek. Best wishes for upcoming endeavours!

Ooh yes, energetic, Bibek! This poem speaks of an initial intoxication turned rather toxic, perhaps. We like the way you use the ghazal form to bring about a resolution :>)

A verbally energetic ghazal from a very able poet. Thank you for posting it!

This needs to find its way into publication.
