reason cannot be displaced
by reductionist
sociological
psychological
historical
or
economic explanations
there are
(not to be confused)
ordinary challenges
to particular examples
of faulty intellect
and
philosophical challenges
to the objectivity
of reason itself
we cannot even begin
to address any challenges
without at least
the pretension of
a transcendental pseudo-self
(philosophically we're all zombies)
and
an ontological leap of faith
