Why Settle For Less

I keep going back and forth
As I consider my self worth.

Why should I settle for less?
I believe my life is a mess.

Not as much as it was last year
But I still have nightmares about my worst fear.

Will I find love again before it's to late?
Does it even matter anymore at this rate?

Why settle for less when I know I am worth so much more?
Someone is out there who will make me happier than ever before.

My patience level is at an all time low
There's so much more I want to know.

There is no way to know for sure
If my heart will ever again be filled with a love that's pure.
