(Words are superfluous
My heart breakes as I fall
It gets to me that you're nothing
- nothing for me at all)

Me - at my most masochistic. Bla, bla.

Together we're insomnia

When times are lonely
I find you in my bed
searching comfort
with a pillow on your head

"I vote for death penalty
if life is such a crime!
Put us out with misery
one fucker at a time!"

Between our body and soul
the centuries between
I touch this sick reality
with heart as medicine

Cause' I've given you the goodbye
the final, and the end
But fuckers don't listen
when nothing seems to mend

So I tell you to give me my pillow
if the moon isn't supposed to shine
Cause' my fury is as bright as dawn
when you exist and then decline

You snarl and give me finger
I stare and give you mine

Thomas Selnes The PoetBay support member heart!
I'm not really a good commenter; but I can say thay this absolutely rocked. The stanza already quoted was really striking.

Loved the fresh taste of it; all the "Love lost, regained, then smothered to death with endless amounts of tears, hugs and moaning sadness" can get a bit dull at times. :p
