have them ram-your-eye
like a bladed Samurai`s
humble weapon

Glow (eternity all around him)

I told him
eventually I would leave

leave

leave

Why he said
Why do you do this

flames around his iris
sulfur in his stare

I am the girl
that sleep under water

I never age like you

I do not breathe like you

I let your seeds grow in me
now let me go

Now ,
as I begged him to release me
he slowly removed his boots

and caught fire

Lourdes, I just saw this one posted on the Poetbay Fav. site. It is one powerful, in control, I have the final say, piece! The line
"I let your seeds grow in me
now let me go" tells me you allowed him inside you, but you no longer will tolerate his disrespect! You will prove to him that he doesn't have the power; you do! The burning power to destroy that which will destroy you! You speak and the world shakes!!!! I love the intensity, imagery, and pure raw solid emotions in this piece! kathy
