Terrors of the Night are born of anxiety and regrets.

Screaming

Stop the screaming, stop the terror,
Of the one who's lying here.
Knowing in your deepest spirit,
There's a boundless love so true and clear.
And in the moments that you touch it,
Something's given, something's gained
Of all the glory everlasting,
All the wisdom and all that's sane.

Just for one night without nighmares,
Just for one night of blissful peace,
You would give all that you do have,
You would give yourself and cease,
All the running, all the thinking,
All the traps that you have laid.
Thinking that you don't deserve
The happiness that you did trade.

Traded to the highest bidder,
That which makes us less than whole.
Given out of the deepest darkness,
Given to the things that told.
Told us that the pain and sorrow
Would be gone if we would just,
Forsaken that which fills the spirit,
Forsaken that which is of trust.

So lay you down and go to sleep, now.
Lay you down and know you're loved,
Loved for the truth of your soulful spirit,
Loved for the one you have become.
Take a breath and fly to that place
Where the cares and fears are gone.
Take a breath and go to sleep now
And I will hold you till the dawn.
