a distant person
yet you are sitting right here,
My conversation is with myself,
that's become quite clear.
You're so far away , your mind
is crowded with things
undone,
Too far to be reached by myself or anyone.
You're so far away,
thoughts keep your heart astray,
Never able to recall the events
that took place yesterday.
You're so far away looking at me
through distant eyes,
Withdrawn from the life you knew,
from the people you love
and all the emotional ties.
