My heart flew out of my chest that night
then the phone called unexpected

all day long on my mind

From the sleep of beauty you had taken me
headlights and music outside my window
A heart anticipating, beating fast
Lungs about to burst, right outside my window
Light feet run on hardwood floor
Coat on almost naked shoulders
Opening the door..

Chill of night air, thrown against bed warm chest
Tired eyes not seemed connected to the brain
Out there was a sight I couldn't believe
A knight in shining armour
armed with a big sign that described his love
Standing there on the path of stone
smiling like crazy, nervous as hell

Once again out lips collided
