An autumn day....

Leaves.

I watched them darting from house to house, so free.

Visiting friend and neighbors bright and happy as could be.

Some were still green others orange or soft gold.

Such an array of colors bringing the fall, and the cold.

One large leaf flipped, twisted, swirled, and then it fell.

Beautiful freedom going where you want under your own spell.

Many liked a special spot near the house next door.

They cuddled together forming a colorful pile inviting others.

But, the next day the wind changed, blowing them all away.

Bye bye my friends away, away, away, my beautiful friends.

What a strange, but happy coincidence,
I have just read a poem you have on your daughter, I have one on my daughter too.
This poem on autumn leaves I read now, I have a poem on autumn leaves too.
May be your third poem will be on something that touches my heart too.

Hey, did you lose a twin in some carnival, in childhood?
Kidding! lol! We have these movies in India where the twins are inevitably getting lost in 'Kumbh Mela' or some such Carnival like celebrations, we are so full of in India- they invariably find each other and become close to each other...lol

Sorry for this degression!

Welcome again to the Bay, dear Victoria!

***Hugs***

Love, xxx, Zoya
