My hearing isn’t what it used to be
Cicadas screeches are muted now
My world is bound in cotton candy
Anechoic cacophony softened low

Oh no :( Sorry you're going through that - it must be so unsettling. I have strong suspicions in time that's what mine will also be doing 'cause they're not too great right now due to damage from severe infections in childhood, and there's a noticeable decline in the last few years.
