Happy Assumption of the Mother of God, my dear friends! Happy holiday of my hometown Varna and happy name day to all the beautiful girls bearing the holy name Maria! May health, love and prosperity accompany you in your days and deeds!Today I worship the Mother of God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and I pray that she will protect us, our families and our loved ones, as well as all people in the world!
Oh, Most Holy Mother of God, who is unspeakably more revered than the angels and archangels, cherubim and seraphim, and you are unspeakably holier than all the saints, Virgin Mother of God! Save me, your humble and sinful servant, because you know, merciful mistress, that after God I entrust all my hope to you and I have no other refuge, except you, all-good.
You are my fortress, Lady, you are my strength, you are my joy in sorrows, you are my port in temptations, you are my correction when I fell, you are also my hopeful salvation, O Mother of my Creator and Lord!
Help me, floating in the sea of this life, terribly indignant and threatened with sinful sinking. Give me a helping hand, my helper, and deliver me from the depths of sinful mud, so that I do not sink into the abyss of despair, because a storm of sins and passions has risen against me and waves of iniquity will drown me.
But you, Mother of Mercy, direct me to the port of dispassion and save me, hope of the hopeless and intercessor of my salvation!
In the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit - now, forever and ever!
