Rest in Peace

Your time is hastily up.
It's time for you to go.
Now finish your last cup.
God, say it isn't so.

The warmth of you has gone, my love.
The remains are snow and sand.
I say a prayer to the God above.
To the God of promised land.

Remember the oath we once swore?
A vow of dreams and tears.
Now you have entered heaven's door.
And startled up my fears.

Loneliness cuts me short.
I tremble in this town.
Misery life is not my sport.
I'm drowning in my frown.

I'll finish my last cup.
God, say it isn't so.
My time is hastily up.
It's time for me to go.

So intense - I'm bookmarking this one.
"The warmth of you has gone, my love.
The remains are snow and sand.
I say a prayer to the God above.
To the God of promised land."
Beautiful, eerie images.
((hugs))
