That there will never be any war
I close my eyes
And see the smiling faces
That shines so bright
It gave out light.
'O star I wish for something else tonight:
I wish the sun shine bright
The grass grow in height
And the night becomes daylight...
But most of all I wish to see a smile
A smile that can be seen from miles
A smile so big that it lightens up my day
A golden smile brighter than hay.

Each night I wish upon a starThat there will never be any war
