i wrote this in grade 6. my 2nd poem ever written so be nice. the teacher liked it so much my class had to perform it infront of the whole school for earth day. yes, as you can imagine i wasnt so popular after that.
see how the earth used to be
take a walk down memory lane
see mother earth's true pain
to be hurt to be burnt
to be choked with all the smoke
and all the cutting down of trees
see how the earth used to be
before there was you or me
before there wa seven a trace
of the human race...
beautiful birds and bushes
fabulous feilds and forests..
see how the earth used to be.
