This need to ponder
will precede my downfall.
I feel I have
to understand,
what others cannot
comprehend.
This drive to learn
that will not go.
This thirst for knowledge
this need to know.
However, even though
curiosity killed the cat.
It happens that what it saw
brought it quickly back.

I need to seeall things big and small.
This need to ponder
will precede my downfall.
