When the moment takes the time
In the quietest moment
I have a resting place
for the moment I stay
so strong in words
and thoughts
For the moment of the day
so I say . . . stay baby stay
in my place my resting place
where I can hide
from the world outside
I can hold you in my arms
and wipe your tears
I can kiss your lips
and hug you for hours
so stay baby stay
In time and moment
who's seeks the day
stay baby stay
in my resting place
just for a little while
- And the world . . .
takes another little mow
and the stars and the sun
is sparkling on the sky
and the moon is taking
our pain
- so stay baby stay
