"I dream, therefore I exist." J. August Strindberg (1849-1912), Swedish dramatist, novelist, poet

Listening for the crack of dawn

There is a silent wish
behind my bravery

Love me,
before I make my walls

tumble...
there is a silent fear

Don't hurt me...
I might be

The warrior of the fire
but I am tired.

Let me rest my head
upon your shoulders;

Let me believe
that everything

is going to be alright
just for a second...

So I want have
to be on guard

Just be there
for me...

I will close my eyes
and dream away

into my fairy land;
a white dragon

will take me on his wings
and fly away...

when I open my eyes
I 'll be in the land

where dreams are made
I will create a bubble

and place my dream in there
so it won't fade away

With the crack of dawn
and I will stay

In your arms, listening
for the crack of dawn

Hoping that this dream
won't fade away...
