(tanka) -
lots of grasshoppers in my backyard last night, mmm... that's about it. reminding me of a better place where my love is, where i'd love to hear their song once more.

grasshopper

a violinist
plays his fiddle with my heart
a duet so pure...

play on, little grasshopper
i now see the moon, thank you

I suppose to a grasshopper the starry heavens are much vaster than to our human eyes..... that lends us a new and broader view.... fresh and freeing... :_)
