Twisted Hair

To our elders
Who teach us of our past
In song in dance in word
So we may preserve mother earth
To our brothers and sisters
Enduring the pain of confusion
Dealing with a split identity

Her beauty we have destroyed
And denied that the truth lies
In our heart and in our heart lies every
Revelation

__

Torn between
Worlds
Inherited wounds
Scarred soul
Torn between
Ends beginnings
Death lifes

Hair twisted
Ancestor way
Inherited wounds
Reflecting in black

__

Twisted Hair

Twisted Hair is a beautiful rhythmic beat! The images you created were of dancing around the fire, united in spirit and in purpose. Well done to both of you! kathy
