This was based on a photograph of a little girl whose clothing was colored as she walked behind the image of an elderly lady that was photographed in black.


Would I Walk In Your Shoes

Would I walk in your shoes
and learn from your past,
enough to thank you
for coloring my
world?

Would I walk in your shoes,
and look to the future
to know that there
is something more
than black and white?

Could I learn to appreciate,
what it is that you told
me as you left this
world to me?
Would I walk in your shoes?
