My prayer

I make a decision
to be more selective
I am throwing away
all the negative things
the negative thoughts
the negative attitudes
goodbye to those
who only know how
to complain

I was born
with a desire
God planted a seed in me
it is my responsibility
to nurture this seed
I am the person
I have decided to be
so...no blame
will be heaped on society

I dare to reach out
for new information
new teachings...new truths
things that will elevate me
this is the time
to build my relationship with God
where I have sinned...I repent
I rededicate my life to Jesus Christ
asking for strength of character all the time
