I Wish You Had Bones Like Me!

I wish you had bones like me.
I wish you had courage to see,
that faith is something we make up,
'cause death's impossible to stop.

Struggle is defining our very cores.
We get distracted by making up chores.
Trying to forget the inevitable end.
Running out of things to mend.

You laugh out loud, denial shines.
You walk on by, fake lifelines.
But it'll hit you, one of these days,
that life is nothing but a harsh maze.

When that day comes you're on your own.
I won't hear your cries and moans.
Cause when I cried you laughed at me.
I really wish you had the courage to see.

Truth shines, look at it straight.
You cannot escape human fate.
Faith is death is will to be.
I wish you had bones like me.
