This poetic piece is inspired by the moon one September evening.

The Role of Lady Luna

Lady Luna draped in a golden veil, lurking in the shadows:
watching over humanity--illuminating the darkness with her
light--expounding cosmic knowledge, emanating mystery,
female serenity, balance, and subtle victory. Beautifully
concealed like a belly dancer, flirting with her audience--
but always vigilantly observing for what is right:
trying to shield us from evil with her glowing, protective light.
