a butterfly really did touch my face today. i was sitting outside on a bench, and it just fluttered by....butterfly, hah..:D

its wings tear apart so easily

a butterfly
strokes her face
with its wings.
several beats
whispers
of floating
drifting
into her human heart

it melts
into the sky
a white, tiny
insect of innocence.

fragile thoughts
of a parallel life
ascends
in her mind

(where the twilight
can touch me
where i can
fly.)

This is so lovely. I haven't seen a butterfly up close in ages. They are such beautiful, fragile creatures.
