Today was my last day in the school since I'm going to move to another job soon .I had many memories there and the most preicous included my students who made it fun, interesting and challenging to teach.May God bless them all with his Love.

16) My Lovely Students That I Will Never Forget

My students.
My precious jewels.
Who i saw through their eyes my success.
Your love was a medal that will last in my heart forever .
You were like my unborn children that i cherished ,cared for and loved.
Your words were music to my ears.
Though sometimes you drove me to tears
Yet the time I've spent with you will turn
To treasured memories through years
You were the reason that made me try,
And the message i did write
Hopefully tomorrow when i leave,
You will remeber me with respect and peace.
I Love you all .

Amanda:

Amanda, this is a very heart-felt poem. Keep writing. I hope that your next job will work out well. Embrace life, and I know that you will continue to inspire people in many ways: in ways that you probably are not aware of. I wish that more teachers felt strongly about passing knowledge onto their students. You are very passionate about young people. Good for you. It's wonderful how just one action creates a ripple effect--one action creates one reaction. I love to teach as well--but mainly E.S.L. students on a volunteer basis. I did get paid to teach one Korean student; and that was a wonderful experience. So I totally understand what you mean. Anyway, take care, and good luck with anything else that you want to accomplish.

Nice "Thank you" in this poetic way. I Know the feeling since I also have experience of working as a teacher.

God has been "for us" in many struggles; we have been summoned to encounter host of dangers – we have been assailed by temptations from without and within – how could we have remained unharmed to this hour if He had not been "for us"? He is "for us" with all the infinity of His being; with all the omnipotence of His love; with all the infallibility of His wisdom; arrayed in all His divine attributes, He is "for us," eternally and immutably "for us: "for us" when yon blue skies shall be rolled up like a worn out vesture "for us" throughout eternity! If God be for thee, who can be against thee? You must go back then to the choice mercies of yesterday, and though all may be dark now, you must light up the lamps of the past. They shall glitter through the darkness, and trust in the Lord, till the day break, and the shadows flee away. A well penned poem!

I love this...I understand...I taught preschoolers in the Head Start program. When I left that job it was hard. They do become so much of your life. They are like your children and they do drive you to tears and lift you up in happiness and laughter. I hope your new job is rewarding as well. :) kathy
