For all those feeling down and need to laugh in the face of adversity. Beware this is morbid humour at it's very worst or best, depends on your disposition. :-)

Marks out of 10

When your wings are broken
and the gravity of life
forces your face into the ground
and the sky becomes a distant world
full of stillborn dreams and candy-floss clouds

When your thoughts are distorted
by the cracked mirror of your mind
and the future becomes a hollow abyss
where nothing survives
except the anguish of time

When you question every word
every smile and every feeling
and your soul is numbed to life
every thought a stagnant meaning

When the time has finally come
to gently slip away
to find the promised comfort
in that final faithless day

Always remember
i will mark you out of ten
as you fly off
the bridge of destiny
into a triple twist
and an elegant pike bend.

lolol... that was good. I'm grounded for this week, and of course, I'm not in the best of moods... :)) Thanks for the laughter.

You started by displaying dark, and gloomy images express despair, desperation and disappointment but ended in a way i didn't expect "hope". A sparkel of hope keeps us a life sometimes even if life is not better than a crab. Well-penned.
