Savor the Chaos

There are times
    I savor the chaos
when I am pushed to a fast pace
it is that time I relish in the race
          of mental challenges
which bring me to a place
where my brain is in a flurry
                clicking off time
like a fast train in a hurry
                  on a long track
                 (never look back)
                  leading to the beginning
and never the end; it takes me
                 around the bend
                 sending me to
                 that harried time
                of doing it all over
               again
              while
            savoring
         the
chaos.

Another brilliant presentation! I so identify with this. I can't seem to get an important task done until I am running out of time and am under pressure of having to juggle five or six other things (or kids). I think we get this from our large family and all that was going on in that little house on McDonald Avenue so full of activity

I simply love this poem, like a boomarang, what you describe takes us into the fray and away from the pull of grief, we go back but in that curve we regain our strength to face another thrust at the curvature of life. A real pleasure to read and read and read again. Smiling at you. Tai

Nice work, and I liked the curvature in structure.

Kathy, I'm leaving the forum; I'm going to try to publish "for real"and most publishers/reviews won't accept works already published on an internet site. But I'd like to stay in touch for support/review/comments. lammo24@yahoo.com
