I'm trying to compose a new verse for Kathy's latest challenge, but in the meantime please accept this old (but heartfelt) poem as a down payment.

Love Poem 1

Cats return home with befriended mice,
Milkmen deliver babies and midwives deliver milk,
Motorways offer their hard shoulders to cry on,
A shadow boxer hangs up his shadow,
Grandmothers help police officers cross the road,
Battlefields become dating agencies,
Elvis and John Lennon are seen together,
Mars and Venus produce a baby planette,
There is a strong rumour of peace...

... I think of you and nothing is ordinary.

I think of you and nothing is ordinary.
